Gold Smith Works™ specializes in "Turning Your Old Jewelry Into Something New™". Our unique, one of a kind, classically designed jewelry incorporating the highest, old world craftsmanship. Featuring the GSW Jewelry Design Team, and one of the finest Gold Smith Studio Galleries in the region, Gold Smith Works™ is capable of designing and creating your very own custom jewelry design --designed, fabricated, forged, cast and finished in our own shop.

Gold Smith Works™ will design and create a new piece of jewelry using your gold, silver, platinum and diamonds, emeralds, rubies, or other gemstones, or we can provide those for you. We can utilize your old, rarely worn jewelry to create a new piece of jewelry that you will be proud to wear every day. Whether you purchase stones or alloys from us, or supply them yourself, Gold Smith Works will be happy to create the perfect piece of custom jewelry just for you!

Making your custom jewelry

 

• May I use my diamonds or gemstones?
  You may utilize your your diamonds or colored gemstones. Our primary goal is to create the perfect custom piece JUST FOR YOU!
• What Metal Alloys do you use?
  We utilize all varieties of Gold alloys such as deep yellow, yellow, green, pink, white and rose gold. Our white gold may be alloyed with Palladium if you prefer this alloy. Silver, Platinum and Mokume are also available.
  
  
  Our preferred alloys include:
  
  • Sterling Silver and Argentium Alloyed Silver ( tarnish-resistant sterling silver).
  • White Gold: Nickel based bright white or Palladium.
  • Yellow, Green and Rose Gold.
  • Platinum: Plat/S2+ 950
    
• Can you my old gold to make my new piece?
  Yes, but all gold, except 24k, is made with alloys containing Silver, Copper, Zinc, Nickel or Palladium to make it durable. Use of 100% old gold in a new pieces may cause problems in casting, finishing, or even contaminate your new piece. To avoid this problem, we may require that a portion of the total necessary containing new alloyed casting grains. This allows the highest quality custom jewelry.
• Ring Sizing:
  When we create your ring, we size your finger. Should your ring need resizing, we perform this for free.
• How can I pay for my jewelry?
  We accept major credit cards. MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover Card.

14Kt Diamonds, Emeralds & Citrine Checkerboard Cushion

   

In final it's stage, 14 kt rings w/1 ct center & 2 1/4 ct side diamonds. these pics show a soft soldered 14 kt anti-slip ball; said ball holds the two rings together while enabling the ring to fit over knuckle and keeps rings from rotating. It is waiting final sizing where the ball will be reduced and buffing. The use of 400 degree melt, soft non-tarnish silver solder enables the ball to be removed and the rings separated if necessary at a later time w/o damaging rings.
